At Rainflower Designs, our joy stems from enriching lives through the creation of outdoor spaces that foster a connection to the changing seasons of nature. We believe that successful landscapes and gardens begin with a well-thought-out design. Our landscapes are designed to be self-sustaining and efficient while staying mindful of budget constraints. The realization of your established landscape begins with the design process, where our landscape designer collaborates with clients towards creating your vision for a vibrant and purposeful outdoor space.

Design Process

Schedule a 30-minute phone consultation followed by filling out our questionnaire. This gives me an opportunity to address your garden dreams to be best prepared for the next steps.

A walk-through of your space where we address questions you have about your landscape, troubleshoot existing issues, and help you visualize your garden dreams. After our in-person meeting, you'll receive a written design proposal, complete with a bid for the completion of your project

When you're ready to move forward with our design services, we kindly request that contracts be signed and a down payment of 25% of the bid price is made.

Site Assessment

The Rainflower team revisits your garden space to conduct a comprehensive site assessment . This includes site survey, soil evaluation, taking sun readings, conducting a plant inventory, and taking measurements of the site.

Concept Meeting

During our concept client meeting, you will be introduced to the design concept for your project. This session serves as an opportunity for you to offer feedback, suggest edits to the design, and ensure that we are aligned with your garden dreams.

Presentation Meeting

At our presentation meeting, you will receive your comprehensive master plan for your garden space.

This plan encompasses a scaled and rendered design of your garden, a detailed planting plan, construction specifications, and a maintenance package. Along with the presentation of your master plan, the final 75% of the design payment will be due. This marks the completion of the design phase, giving you all  the elements you need to complete your new  landscape.
